School Educational Philosphy
The core of Jewish continuity stems from the education of our children. LHA’s vision of providing authentic, meaningful, and relevant Jewish and General education to all students is predicated on the world view of Shulchan Oruch, Chabad Chassidus, and the directives of the Lubavitcher Rebbe. The redemption is dependent upon our fulfilling this task.
We Believe that a quality program is a caring and nurturing environment in which children can flourish while discovering their strengths; enables students to achieve the highest level of learning through being taught a love of learning and an understanding of the learning process; goes beyond traditional classroom teaching and exposes children to the arts, physical wellness, and athletics.
Students are taught respect for all regardless of background; ethical and moral values and the development of midos tovos (good character traits); an appreciation of the importance of being midakdek (punctilious) in halacha and minhagim by promoting spiritual and ritual observances; an attachment to Eretz Yisrael and its people as well as a sense of responsibility for their welfare.
